Kathryn Ogden

– Founder, WMPA

Kathryn Ogden was a visionary founder and the driving force behind what is now WMPA. With a passion for financial education and a deep commitment to empowering future professionals, she spearheaded the initiative to fund reimbursements for students taking the Series 65 exam. What began as a volunteer-driven effort has grown into a thriving organization, thanks to her relentless dedication.

From 2020-2021, Kathryn built structure, study resources, and mentorship, guiding multiple student cohorts through the Finance Academy. Her leadership, charisma, and boundless energy created an environment where students could excel. With a career focus in wealth management and a degree in marketing from BYU-Idaho, she was well poised to be a pioneering force for the program that is WMPA.

Kathryn's ability to communicate, fundraise, and build lasting relationships was instrumental in shaping the Finance Academy into what it is today under the wings of WMPA. Her impact continues to inspire, proving that one driven individual can create lasting change for the next generation of financial planning.
